The Vaah Sh'iirs follow Hapnikt, the deity of the Sun (much like Bastet or Sekhmet). Hapnikt is depicted as a lioness with four arms, each pawlike hand holding a certain object. The 4 objects coincide with their beliefs.
Upper right: The Sun. The feline race view the sun as being reborn and starting again, as is what they believe to happen to those who pass on. It is the symbol of warmth and life, a treasure in their world.
Lower right: A Claw. This demonstrates their natural melee and strength. The race is prideful of the abilities they were born with, from purring to using their own teeth to hunt down prey.
Upper left: The Cat's Eye. This demonstrates their magnificent power to shapeshift, the ability granted to them by their lioness.
Lower left: The moon.
