The screams of agony barely reached Hiran's ears as the sound radiated through the hallways of his home. Blood filled his senes of taste and smell as the beating heart repeatedly resounded in his ears. Red eyes clouded over as the intoxicating life liquid woke the monster, and he wasn't even aware of the horrific sight taking place in the middle of the hall that led to his study. Fingers slashed through skin and bone and fangs tore away at tendons. His white ghostly skin stained and hair matted as he unconsciously rejoiced at the feeling of death around him. What was once a pair of slaves trying to quietly attempting to do their duties quickly turned into a rage fest of blood thirst. The man was now surrounded in nothing more than blood and organic material of human flesh and bone.
The beatings silenced in his hearing. Red eyes peered from behind their lids. There was nothing but red. He blinked but still nothing except the color of bright red. A blood drenched hand lifted and pulled the bloodied glasses away. No emotion ran through him as he stared around the mess he stood in. He had only come down this way to read a book and have him mind be silent to his thoughts, but yet tyranny ensued without his realization. His eyes half lidded towards the fragments of bloodied bits of human. Then he sighed.
He covered his wet bloody face with his hands after releasing his glasses and letting them drop and sink into the gore his feet were under. Most of the time these moments created excitement for the Ancient. The momentary ecstasy was amazing. But this.. he didn't even remember causing this, only the feeling of intense need for the blood that was in the air.
At the thought instincts flared as the smell was educed and a large snarl left his throat and he moved backwards away from the hump of death. This was unreal. Hiran the Ancient simply didn't let his instinct take over without him knowing. He kept his eyes shut as he fought to push back the creature that screamed for more. No! There would be no more losses of memory!
He let out a breath as his hands lowered, opening his eyes again and stared in the other direction. There were footsteps. Shakeeya? Damn it all to hell. She didn't need to see this weakness.
He looked down at himself and scowled.
"I'm a mess." He said bluntly. The feeling of fresh hot blood on his skin was usually welcoming, but right now he did not think his senses could take any more.
